What is Otomize?
Otomize ear spray is a specialized triple-combination treatment that provides comprehensive management of complex ear infections. The combination of steroid, antibiotic, and antifungal components makes it particularly effective for difficult-to-treat ear conditions.
Book an online consultation if you’re experiencing ear pain, discharge, or infection symptoms that may require specialist ear treatment. Our GPs can assess your ear condition and determine if Otomize or other ear treatments are appropriate for your specific symptoms.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my eardrum is perforated?
Signs include sudden ear pain followed by relief, hearing loss, discharge, or ringing. If uncertain, your GP can examine your ear with an otoscope before prescribing.
Why does Otomize contain three different medications?
The combination treats inflammation (steroid), bacterial infection (antibiotic), and fungal infection (acetic acid) simultaneously, ideal for complex ear infections.
How long should I use Otomize?
Typically 7-10 days. Don't use for longer than prescribed as prolonged antibiotic use can lead to resistance or secondary fungal infections.
Can I use Otomize for earwax removal?
No, Otomize is specifically for infected ears. For earwax, your GP may recommend different treatments like olive oil drops or microsuction.
